For maintaining operational efficiency of the Sub-Jails in the State,
District Sub jails Offices are established under the control of District
Sub-Jails Officers. These officers are responsible for proper functioning of
the Sub-Jails in the Districts. The District Sub-Jails Officer undertakes
periodical visits and inspections. There are 50 Sub-Jails
in Coastal Andhra
Range, 37 Sub-Jails in Kadapa Range.

of Deputy Superintendents are functioning as District
